We made it to the Alaskan highway! We have seen two bears, two eagle's nests, baby foxes, but no moose...

Campsite number 4 was near Lillooet, BC. It was called Seton Lake Reservoir Rec. Area. Both the site and all the firewood you wanted were free! We roasted hotdogs and watched the camp fire past 10:00PM.
Tim is getting pretty used to living on the road. Here he is shaving in the reflection of the back window. Next picture, he is "relieved" to be at a roadside rest stop.
We stopped at the 100 Mile House, BC Visitor Center. They had the World's Largest Cross Country Skis........and Tami liked the pretty flowers.

Well, we finally made it to Canada. This area is an awesome place to drive, get out, hike, take pictures, and then keep on driving.
We exchanged some US Dollars for some Canadian Dollars. $200 USA = $ 204.10 Canadian.
The pictures of the waterfalls were taken along the Sea to Sky Highway north of Vancouver, BC.
The last photo was taken yesterday afternoon in Roslyn, Washington. Can you guess what TV series took place in this town? Answer below.
Answer: Northern Exposure

The first day of our trip we traveled 704 miles
through MO, NB, and WY.
The second day we drove 660 miles through WY, UT,
and ID.
So far today, we have traveled through ID, OR, and
now we are in WA.
We have seen lots of beautiful scenery. This first picture
was taken along the highway in Wyoming.
We drove on the northeastern edge of the Great Salt Lake in Utah.
Idaho is the first state we have entered that we’ve never been in before.
We just happened to come across Snake River Canyon (Do you know what 1974 event made this canyon even more iconic?) See the answer at the end of this post.
We camped at Three Island Crossing State Park in Glen Ferry, ID. The emigrants of the Oregon Trail crossed the Snake River at this location.
We have several of the conveniences of home in our van. This is a picture of our bed and we used the portable stove to fix tuna-melt sandwiches as we drove down the road.

We camped in the Medicine Bow National Forest(very same
campsite as last year during Tim’s bike race). This dispersed campsite was free
and it was just a few miles east of Laramie, WY.

We are on our way! We
rolled out of the driveway at 6:45 a.m., loaded and ready to go! Tim made the
boxes for storage. One has clothes in it and the other, as you can see, has an
assortment of things. The sign was given to Tim at his CMS retirement party.
Our destination for tonight is Laramie, WY.
We will decide there whether we will go north to Calgary(flooding may
still be an issue) or if we will go west to Washington and then go north.

Tim has been working very hard getting our van ready for the big trip. He has fixed the side door (so we can get out), fixed the screen windows, fixed the broken blind, taken it to the shop for a tune-up, oil change, and tire usage appraisal, removed the middle seats, converted the back seat into a bed, and then yesterday he surprised me with this:
Our old radio/speakers were not working very well(i.e. we couldn't see the display, the front speakers were crackly...) and so now we have a new super nice radio/cd player/usb port/mp3 player port/new front speakers! What a nice surprise!
